This Starbucks is integrated into the area and hence has a suitable artistic feel. Soft seating and hard seating are available, including slightly odd plush cubes that were there to sit on when I visited last time.
Plasma displays let you know the upcoming events in the South Bank Centre and there is a nice outside seating area for summertime. Coffee and food is standard for Starbucks, but keep an eye out for the odd work of art that has been put on display.
i think its a great location to have a starbucks situated here. you can also sit outside to get some fresh air whilst enjoying a warm beverage or something out of the selection of snacks they sell, sandwichs, croissants, cakes etc. -

Frappuccinno taste great mostly the chocolate and coffee flavor. Love the snacks and they still let you sit inside the coffee shop even when the weather is cold.
The cake tastes fantastic with the frappuccinno when combined together. Love the hospitality in this shop. It is so great -

A Starbucks is a Starbucks... It's genuinely not that exciting. With the coffee revolution in Birmingham City Centre (the birth of many fantastic venues), I would have thought this would have expanded into Solihull, but a walk around on a Saturday showed that these guys might be a little behind us in the league tables of Independent Coffee Houses.
You know what you're getting with these guys. Coffee (with ridiculous names for the different sizes), teeth melting non-coffee based drinks and cakes/snacks. I don't think I have ever been into a branch and thought "this is exciting", but this one is totally fine.
Clean, spacious, airy and plenty of seating... Again, it's totally fine. I don't tend to eat in Starbucks (so can't give you a rundown of the food), but the coffee tastes OK (really nothing special) and is served reasonably hot.
I'm sure if I had, had more time in Solihull I could have hunted down an independent coffee gem, but I came across these guys in the time I had... and that was... fine. -

A favourite for its hazelnut hot chocolates and vanilla lattes, i'm a frequent visitor to this branch.
Always busy, the service can get muddled, the tables are rarely cleared and it's a bit shabby, albeit comfy. Expect to clear your own table, or take your drinks away.
